Man survives after near drowning off Esplanade in Hervey Bay
Ambulance crews rushed a man to hospital after he was pulled out of the water in Hervey Bay on Thursday night.

Emergency services rushed to Urangan last night to attend to a man who nearly drowned in Hervey Bay.
A man in his 50s was reportedly pulled from the water off the Esplanade near Moolyyir St at 6.24pm.
The patient was already out of the water by the time emergency services arrived, a Queensland Ambulance spokesman said.
Hervey Bay lifeguards reported they were not involved in the incident and Queensland Ambulance suggested it was a bystander who pulled the man out of the water.
Ambulance crews transported him to Hervey Bay Hospital in a stable condition.
