Man critical after near-drowning at Rainbow Beach
A man has been airlifted in a critical condition from a beach north of Brisbane.

A man has been flown to hospital after almost drowning at Rainbow Beach on the Cooloola Coast.
The incident happened about 9am on Friday.
A spokeswoman from the Queensland Ambulance Service said the man was aged in his 60s.
He was flown to Sunshine Coast University Hospital in a critical condition.
