Man crashed motorbike into kangaroo at Glenwood

Paramedics were called to the crash scene this morning to assess a male patient who had struck a kangaroo while riding his motorcycle.

A man is being assessed for minor injuries following a motorcycle crash at Glenwood this morning.

A Queensland Ambulance Service spokesperson said the man struck a kangaroo on Neerdie Road at 6.12am, 2km west of Ward St.

QAS transported the man to Gympie Hospital in a stable condition with a head injury.

Police were not required to attend the scene.
