A GYMPIE 'trolley man' has been praised for his above and beyond attitude on the job where he goes out of his way to help customers with their shopping loads.

Stacey Jones posted the following to popular FaceBook community page Gympie Information, Advice & Discussions:

"I saw this trolley man from IGA helping push these customers trolley for them on Friday afternoon, and then back up the hill by himself! Such an awesome, kind thing to do & great service!!"

The comments rolled in praising the IGA employee Patrick Cole, including from his sister Sam Cole who said:

"That's my bro!!! Always puts others first. I'm glad to see him getting the recognition he deserves. He goes above and beyond for family, friends and even strangers."

She asked the next person to see him to give him a hug from her because she was interstate at the moment.
