LETTER: No-one could have envisaged a global power so insidious and relentless

Daniel Andrews' roadmap a 'kick in the guts' for 'angry Victorians'

WE ARE at war with an exported global pandemic. This invisible, but deadly enemy is waging World War Three on every nation; none spared. No-one could have envisaged a global power so insidious and relentless.

World-wide, hundreds of thousands are its victims. Age, wealth or position are no guarantees of avoiding its threat. The weapons of its warfare are working undetected among us.

Its unsuspecting soldiers are conscripted by exposure to its tentacles, which don’t discriminate. Playing right into its hands are the non-believers, who challenge and deny its very existence.
