A Brisbane-based developer has revealed its vision for an empty block in the middle of one of the Mary Valley’s most popular tourist towns.

A vacant block of land in the middle of Imbil could soon become home to outdoor dining according to new plans for the land unveiled by a Brisbane-based developer.

Fredsville Pty Ltd has lodged an application with Gympie Regional Council to build two small restaurants on the empty property at the corner of Yabba and Diggins Rd.

The company bought the block in July, 2021 for $180,000, Corelogic’s RP Data records show.

The two restaurants will be joined by an open roofed courtyard.

The two outlets would be 52m sq and 67m sq in size, surrounded by an open roof courtyard.

The courtyard will include toilets.

Six parking spaces will be provided, including one bay for the disabled.
