Today's maximum will be topped on Sunday, but cooler conditions are expected on five of the next six days.

Showers are less likely Monday when the Bureau of Meteorology forecasts a medium (40 per cent) chance of rain.

Experts suggest looking for shade and avoiding sun exposure around noon. General advice is to take all precautions such as using eye protection, sunscreen and covering up.
Winds will be north around 8 km/h in the morning shifting to northeast around 7 km/h in the afternoon.
