Hundreds of Gympie punters have donned their finest fashion to celebrate the 2022 Melbourne Cup at a range of events across the region. Check out the photos here:

Wet weather was not enough to dampen the spirits of Gympie residents eager to join in Melbourne Cup festivities, with glitz and glamour once more on display at event across the region.

The Pavilion played host to a luncheon to help Supporting Chemotherapy in Cooloola hosted by Real Estate with Renee Ivory.

Across the Mary River the Gympie RSL held its own luncheon for guests, including live entertainment.
