On Monday evenings, members of the public are invited to try lawn bowls in a casual atmosphere.

Patroness Olive Fitzpatrick has her day on Sunday, June 20, starting at 1pm. Everyone is invited to join us for what should be a great day of bowls.

The ladies had a great game of triples last Wednesday.

We had a beautiful fine day for bowls last Thursday but the westerly wind that started halfway through the game provided a challenge for everyone.

We welcomed back Chris and Greg who have been away for a while. It was also great to welcome Ian Frampton who joined us on the green.

Ron Idle, John Allen and Tom Stillaway won the day with the greatest, but unmentionable margin. Graham Thomson won the raffle.

The Sunshine Ladies committee meetings will be held on the fourth Friday of every month.

Next week will be another busy week for Gympie Bowls Club at Southside.

Monday morning is bingo with a lucky door prize and raffle, with eyes down at 9.30am.

On Wednesdays from 9am Gympie Ladies take to the greens for social bowling. These are enjoyable and relaxing games with everyone welcome. Please have names in 30 minutes before start of play.

On Thursdays from 9.30am the men play club selected pairs. Names in by 9am please.

Friday mornings our Sunshine Ladies play competition and social bowls at 9am. Names in 30 minutes before start of play please.
