Gympie Century 21 owner forges his own path

After an early career in hospitality management, 34-year-old Billy Mitchell is now celebrating five years in the real estate industry.

After an early career in hospitality management, Billy Mitchell, 34, is now celebrating five years in the real estate industry.

And what an outstanding five years it has been.

Billy, sole director and business owner of Century 21 Platinum Agents has opened not one, but two Century 21 franchises and firmly stamped his brand on real estate in the Gympie region and on the Cooloola Coast.

The Tin Can Bay office was the first feather in his cap and then, in January, he opened the impressive Gympie office in Nash Street which is also going from strength to strength.

"When someone offers you a good opportunity, say 'yes' and work it out later," he said.

"The most exciting and rewarding thing for me is being able to create a team environment that everyone is proud to be a part of and genuinely likes working together in to achieve success.
