Five Gympie region schools have celebrated their 2025 senior formals in style, with hundreds of students marking their graduation milestone across glamorous events from June to November.

Gympie State High School’s dazzling school formal on Thursday, November 20, marked the end of the 2025 school formal season across the Gympie region, with hundreds of students celebrating their graduation.

The glitzy and glamorous nights started on June 13, when when St Patrick’s College’s Class of 2025 celebrated their formal at the Gympie Pavilion.

Two weeks later, on June 27, Victory College turned the Pavilion into party central to celebrate their graduating class.

James Nash State High School held its on September 8, with students dressing to the nines and celebrating early with the traditional photo shoot in Memorial Park.

The last of the region’s three private colleges, Cooloola Christian College, rolled out the red carpet at the school for its Class of 2025 shortly afterward on September 18.

Gympie State High School finally wrapped things up on November 20, when its students gathered and also celebrated early in Memorial Park before heading to their formal.
