Four injured in crashes at Gundiah, Imbil and Gympie overnight

Emergency crews were kept busy across the Gympie region overnight with first responders called to three separate crashes, including one with serious injuries.
Paramedics were first called to Gundiah at 6.52pm when a man was thrown from his motorbike along Gundiah St, on the southern outskirts of the rural suburb about 40km north of the city.
The man, aged in his 40s, was taken to Gympie Hospital with head and chest pain.
Three hours later first responders were called out to Kandanga Imbil Rd, Imbil, about 10pm after a Nissan Patrol veered off the road and rolled down an embankment.
Police are looking for the driver, who reportedly fled the scene and leaving his two passengers behind.

One was taken to the Sunshine Coast University Hospital in a serious condition with abdominal and head injuries.
At 11.35pm emergency services were then called to the other side of the region when a vehicle rolled over at Cootharaba Rd, on the outskirts of the city.
A QAS spokeswoman said she was taken to Gympie Hospital with head pain.
