Four hurt in two motorbike crashes

PARAMEDICS were called to two separate motorbike crashes in the region yesterday involving four people.

Two people were hurt in a crash involving a single motorbike on Gap and Bacon Roads at Cedar Pocket about 11.30am.

A female in her 50s suffered an ankle and head injury and a male suffered a lower limb and head injury, a Queensland Ambulance Services spokeswoman said.  

They were both taken to Gympie Hospital in a stable condition.

Later paramedics were called to a second single motorbike crash on Neerdie Rd at Gunalda.

Two people were taken in a stable condition to Gympie Hospital just after 4.30pm.

A male in his 50s suffered lower leg injuries and a female suffered abrasions and a head injury, the spokeswoman said.
