Firefighting crews called to Gunalda home

Emergency services are rushing to a private property north of Gympie where early reports indicate fire may have broken out in the bedroom of a home.

Multiple firefighting crews have been called to Gunalda north of Gympie, following reports of a possible house fire.

A QFES spokeswoman said three crews were headed to the property at Bonnick Rd, which runs parallel to the Bruce Highway.

They were called out just before 3.45pm.

She said initial reports were that the fire may have started in a bedroom.
