The COVID restrictions caused by the Brisbane lockdown have forced organisers to cancel one of the Gympie region's favourite family nights out.
Easter on Mary, was supposed to take place at 5-9pm on Wednesday, March 31, but Gympie Regional Council announced it would not be going ahead.
What the 3-day Brisbane lockdown means for Gympie region residents
In a post on Facebook, they said the COVID-19 restrictions caused the cancellation.
"We understand that this will regretfully disrupt our vendors and community groups that have worked hard in getting ready for tonight," the post said.
"The safety and health of our community is the priority."
