A sea of country glamour was on show at the Gympie Showgrounds Pavilion on Saturday night when the region’s rural royalty turned it on for the annual Gympie Show Ball.
The night was also the culmination of months of hard work for the region’s junior and senior Showgirl entrants, and Rural Ambassador contestants, with a winner in each category decided by a panel of judges.
Winner of the 2024 Gympie Senior Showgirl contest was a stunning and delighted Shanika Tappert.
Winner of the 2024 Gympie Junior Showgirl was Payton Rozynski.
Senior Rural Ambassador 2024 was James Smith with the Junior Rural Ambassador going to Amy Wheeler.
The Charity Showgirl went to Hannah Johnston.
