The Gympie sports arena is back in full swing this year after a bumpy road in 2020, and the brightest stars are free to shine once again.

As part of a series for the Best in Sport in the Gympie region, The Gympie Times asked on our Facebook page who is the best hockey player at the moment.

We got quite a few nominations for the title and now it’s over to our readers to select the winner by voting in the poll below.

The poll closes at 10am on Saturday, May 29. We will announce the winner soon after.

“Vicki Hyam, best player I’ve ever seen,” said Roslyn Grady.

Jordan Senini commented, “Will Gaze absolute weapon. Drafted for Hockeyroos but unfortunately, did his ACL. Just come out of retirement now and already in better form.”
