Car flips, rolls in crash on Gympie Bypass Bruce Highway off ramp

A “side-on collision’ involving two cars on a Gympie Bypass Bruce Hwy off ramp on Tuesday afternoon left one woman injured.

A woman was taken to hospital after her Isuzu four wheel drive flipped and rolled on a Gympie Bypass off-ramp Tuesday afternoon.

Emergency crews were called to the scene of the two-car crash at Victory Heights east of Gympie, at the Bruce Highway off-ramp on to the Gympie Connection Rd, shortly before 2pm.

The cars are believed to have collided side-on as they both headed towards Gympie.

A Queensland Ambulance Spokeswoman said the woman, aged in her 60s, received a minor head injury and was taken to Gympie Hospital in a stable condition.
