Organisers of the Gympie Women in Business awards have shortlisted their 2024 finalists, and there are some new faces and inspiring people among them.
The We Rise Networking - Gympie Qld group is network for local women in business, and coordinated by businesswoman Ellen Hardy.
“We Rise Networking is all about bringing like-minded women together,” Ms Harding said.

Award categories and their finalists are:
GENEROUS HEART: Finalists are Lucie Santowski, Lyd (sic) Penfold, Rachel Gilliland, Holly Dodd, Branka Starcevic and Belinda Ray.
BIGGEST CHEERLEADER: Finalists are Tamara Perissinotto, Shelly Johns, Tayla Hennell, Mikaela Sima and Zoe Shanks.
COMMUNITY QUEEN (NFP): Finalists are Libby Manthey, Ann Wojtec, Fran Caddell, Kylie James and Sherry Lowe.
GRACE & RESILIENCE (The Melanie Fitzgibbon Award): Finalists are Bella Forsythe, Courtney Bowers and Holly Van Slooten.
POWERHOUSE WOMAN: Finalists are Holly Van Slooten, Carolan Verity, Shereen Walsh, Kiki Watt, Mandy Irvine and Brea Martin.
NEW BUSINESS OF THE YEAR: Finalists are Carly O’Donnell, Jenny Beckwith, Samantha Francis, Shelley Mills, Margaret Diefenbach, Emma Dobbie and Tayla Hennell.
BUSINESS OF THE YEAR: Finalists are Holly Van Slooten, Julianne Munn, Zoe Shanks, Sam Longmore, Bella Forsythe and Ashlee Kovac.
