Upgraded gathering restrictions are limiting all non-essential indoor gatherings to 100 people with outdoor gatherings limited to 500.

Queensland Police Services are encouraging those to abide by the regulation enforced by the Queensland Chief Health Officer on March 20.
QPS officers and the Office of Liquor and Gaming will be conducting compliance checks in entertainment precincts throughout the night.
In addition to a maximum of 100 people including staff allowed in social venues, there must be “sufficient space” allowing four square metres per person.
“Where there is an increased number of interactions, an individual’s attendance should be less than two hours duration,” a QPS statement read.
“In addition, there must be sufficient space to allow for 4sq m per person for each indoor room”.
With these strict laws in-place, police are stressing that people aged between 20-39 represent a large portion of those being affected by the virus.
