A CAIRNS cop and reality TV star who was suspended from duty over her romance with an accused drug dealer has reinvented herself on the Gold Coast as a fitness model and personal trainer.

Cristina Cicade resigned from the Queensland Police Service late last year after being suspended over her relationship with alleged drug supplier Kayle McElwee.

Police brass accused the shapely former constable, who starred in Channel 10 police reality show Recruits, of failing to resolve a conflict of interest and accessing confidential information on a police computer system.

However, she quit the QPS last December before any further disciplinary action could be launched.

Cicade has now emerged on the Gold Coast where she is running a personal training and wellness business called CristyFit.

Her business’s Facebook page features a sultry profile pic of her at the beach in a barely-there bikini with some of her many tattoos on display. Other photos show her posing in lingerie and Brazilian bikinis.

Cicade, who has modelled for tattoo magazine Ink, describes herself as an ‘Australian/Brazilian personal trainer, fitness model, health coach, Muay Thai fighter and reality TV star’.

Glitter Strip Bare tried to contact Cicade for comment on her new life but she didn’t respond.

SCHOOLIES BOSS ‘MARKS’ MILESTONE

VETERAN Gold Coast lawyer Mark Reaburn marks his 14th year as Schoolies Advisory Group chairman this week and the number has some significance.

“When I started as chairman, the Class of 2016 was still in pre-school,’’ he told Glitter Strip Bare.

Reaburn and hundreds of other volunteers, as well as police and emergency services - not to mention Surfers Paradise residents, tourists and businesses - are bracing for the annual invasion of about 25,000 school-leavers this weekend.

“We’ve been doing this for so long now we think we’ve got it pretty well wired,’’ he said.

“We know the first night is always going to be big and loud with lots of yahooing but if the kids settle down quickly, we breathe a little easier.

“We generally know after the first night whether it’s going to be a good or bad year - and I can’t remember the last time we had a bad year.’’

CANDYMAN BURN

WITH his rock-star swagger, the Candyman isn’t lacking in self-confidence - which is just as well after he copped a massive burn from style mag GQ.

After attending a recent event sporting a Versasce ensemble, including a silk bomber jacket, Candy, aka Travers Beynon, was slammed by GQ fashion editor Megan Gustashaw, saying he was the one example of ‘how NOT to wear’ the colourful silk jacket also favoured by celebs including Bruno Mars.

“Instead of looking like a guy with more style than most you just look like a guy with more money than most,” she wrote.

“And that’s boring AF.”

Sources close to the Freechoice tobacco king say he does not cope well with criticism of his carefully-crafted playboy image.

AWARD FOR ACCUSED COP

A QUEENSLAND cop accused of leaking details of a domestic violence victim to her former partner is a decorated police officer.

Three months ago, The Courier-Mail reported the officer had allegedly supplied the Gold Coast mum’s supplied address details to an old school mate - and then joked about it in text messages.

The officer is now the subject of an internal police investigation.

Glitter Strip Bare can reveal the officer involved won a community service award AFTER allegedly accessing police records to help his friend track down the former partner.

However, that was still before a complaint was made to police.

In a statement, a police spokesman said it was not appropriate to comment while the matter remains subject to an internal affairs investigation.

GOLD Coast radio station Sea FM has ended its search for a replacement team for popular breakfast stars Paul Gale and Charli Robinson.

The top-rating stars have announced that they will both be leaving the station at the end of the year, forcing Sea to scramble in a nationwide search for their replacements.

However, GSB understands the search was a fruitful one, with high-profile announcements signing on.

It is believed the new hosts have strong ties to the GC.

Expect to see an official announcement within the next week.
