Two patients have been hospitalised with spinal injuries after a two-vehicle crash in Gladstone resulted in a ute being tipped on its side.
Emergency services responded to reports of a two vehicle crash on Ann St, South Gladstone about 11am Wednesday.
Police and Queensland Fire and Emergency Services crews also attended the scene with traffic temporarily diverted away from the crash.
Two patients were assessed at the scene in stable conditions complaining of back and neck pain before being transported to Gladstone Hospital.
Both patients, an adult male and adult female, were the drivers and sole occupants of the respective vehicles.
It is understood a ute involved in the crash was tipped on its side as a result.
