A Gladstone woman has the chance to reach another milestone after she was nominated as a ‘business woman to watch’ in a major award category.
Runway 7 owner Lynda Ninness was nominated in the Beam Magazine Women to Watch 2021’s People Choice Award.
Ms Ninness has owned Goondoon Street retail store Runway 7 for four years and recently opened a second store in Biloela last May.
Ms Ninness said she was honoured for the nomination.
“I have meet some wonderful people and in the last 18 months faced some challenges that most business owners have never had to face,” Ms Ninness said.
“I am happy to say that we are continuing to service our region.”
Ms Ninness, who also runs R7 Models, was recognised for her weekly classes in deportment, etiquette and modelling which build confidence in the younger generation.
“I love assisting our region’s ladies and prom girls to find their perfect outfit for their special event, and I look forward to many more years to come,” she said.
“I hope to expand this to Biloela in the near future.”
