FOR the first time in more than 50 years this idyllic 600sqm beach side property could be yours.
And you don't even have to splurge on a million-dollar price tag.
The beach side home at 18 Ocean St hit the market for offers over $820,000 less than two weeks ago.
Homeowners Dorn and Noel Comrie are letting go of their very own slice of paradise after decades of happy memories.
Mr Comrie said it would be a significant sale for his wife's family - The Fergusons.
According to Mr Comrie the Fergusons bought the land in the early '60s and built a beach house in 1974.
"There are only three homes on this street and they were once all owned by my wife's family," Mr Comrie said.
"She's the last Ferguson left on the street but now it's time to let go for good.
"We're in our 80s and we've fully enjoyed this home with many celebrations, including our 50th wedding anniversary. "I've had my fair share of morning walks and sea breezes."
Mr Comrie said the land was originally home to several bathing sheds.
"It was used for beachgoers to change," he said.
Mr Comrie said the family had continually upgraded and renovated the house to suit the ages.
"My wife and I were both school teachers in Gladstone," he said.
"On the weekends we came to Tannum Sands.
"There was no bridge to Tannum Sands ... you could only get to Boyne Island at low tide. We took the Old Tannum Rd in."
