Plans have been lodged for the construction of a 14-storey apartment building, comprised of 40 individual units and three levels of underground carparking in Gladstone’s city centre.

The 916m² block at 20 Central Lane was sold on January 28, 2023 for $415,000, with plans for the units lodged earlier in August.

The prospected building was lodged by HP Property Group, a Brisbane-based property management company.

The site currently contains a 161m² house, which will be demolished to make way for the 45m building.

Upon completion, the building will consist of 40 units, with different unit sizes varying from one to four bedrooms.

Included in the plans is two storeys of shared facilities, including a large rooftop garden area.
