A warrant has been issued for a wanted Central Queensland driver after her no-show at Gladstone Magistrates Court on Tuesday.
Tazma Bree Beverley Hourigan, 27, is facing charges including drug driving, driving under the influence of liquor, failing to provide a specimen of breath, unlicensed driving (demerit point suspended), unlicensed driving (SPER suspended), and two counts of wilful damage.
When Ms Hourigan’s matters were mentioned on Tuesday, Magistrate Mary Buchanan told her solicitor Bianca Wieland that there was warrant lying on the file.
Ms Wieland asked if Ms Hourigan’s name could be called.
After that was done three times, there was no appearance from Ms Hourigan.
The court heard that Ms Hourigan had been contacted about her court matters and the prosecution subsequently sought a warrant.
Magistrate Buchanan issued a warrant to apprehend Ms Hourigan and bring her before the court.
