A warrant has been issued for a truck driver charged over the Bruce Highway crash that killed mother and son Tracey and Corey Craig in Central Queensland.
Christian Leslie Murray, 30, failed to appear in Gladstone Magistrates Court on Monday.
He is charged with one count of dangerous operation of a motor vehicle causing death or grievous bodily harm.
Tracey, 40, and Corey, 13, were killed when their Nissan Navara was destroyed in a crash involving a truck at Raglan, between Gladstone and Rockhampton on November 12.
At court on Monday, Mr Murray’s name was called three times but he did not appear.
Police prosecutor Senior Constable Jessica McLaren subsequently sought a warrant.
Magistrate Mary Buchanan noted that Mr Murray had signed a bail undertaking on November 13 to appear in court on December 9.
Ms Buchanan declared his bail undertaking forfeited and ordered a bail act warrant issue to apprehend Mr Murray and bring him before the court.
