A Gladstone man who was charged with the indecent treatment of a child has had his matter briefly heard in court.
Peter Morgan Smart, 58, was self-represented in Gladstone Magistrates Court on Tuesday where his matter was mentioned.
Mr Smart is charged with the alleged indecent treatment of a child under 12 years old and requested an adjournment to seek legal advice and representation from Legal Aid Queensland.
He was granted bail and is expected to reappear in the court next month.
