A woman tripled her criminal record length with one visit to Gladstone Magistrates Court on Friday.
Joelene Andriea Hemara, 44, pleaded guilty in Gladstone Magistrates Court on Friday to 30 charges including 16 breaches of bail conditions.
Police prosecutor Senior Sergeant Merrilyn Hoskins said the worst of Hemara’s offending occurred when police executed a search warrant on her house.
“On June 26, around 10am, police executed a search warrant on Hemara’s Cairncross Street address in Sun Valley,” she said.
“The warrant was issued by a Magistrate and included the condition she must provide her PIN number to police so her phone could be accessed, she refused to do so.”
Further, police located three clip seal bags in Hemara’s bedroom, one containing one gram of cannabis seeds and the other two a total of 1.3 grams of meth.
Also found were a number of used clip seal bags, three sets of digital scales and a modified straw.
Finally, police found 14 smoking utensils with most being glass, however, some were plastic and most appeared to be used.
Hemara claimed all the items and was transported to Gladstone watch house before being released on a bail undertaking.
