A motorbike rider has been killed in a crash on the Dawson Hwy in the Gladstone region.
Emergency crews were called to the crash near the Jim Whyte Way exit at Burua about 12.19am.
The 55-year-old male rider from Calliope tragically died at the scene.
The Forensic Crash Unit is investigating.
Witnesses or anyone with information are urged to contact police.
It comes just a fortnight after another fatal crash in the Gladstone region.
