Gladstone Mt Larcom road closed due to trailer fire
Emergency crews have rushed to a dangerous fire involving a trailer carrying lithium batteries on Central Queensland road, forcing police to close the route in both directions.
Emergency crews are responding to a trailer fire in Aldoga, west of Gladstone, which has closed a vital regional road.
Two fire crews have rushed to the scene on the Gladstone Mt Larcom road just after 3pm after reports a trailer carrying lithium batteries had caught fire, a Queensland Fire Department spokesman said.
The Gladstone Mt Larcom road has been closed in both directions, a Queensland Police Service spokeswoman said.
