Central Queensland woman treated at Moura property after suspected snake bite while mowing lawn

A woman in her 20s is reportedly having difficulty breathing after a suspected snake bite while mowing the lawn at a Central Queensland property. Here’s what we know.

A woman suffering from a suspected snake bite was treated by paramedics at a Central Queensland property on Wednesday morning.

Paramedics were on scene at a private property in Moura after a woman in her 20s is suffering from a suspected snake bite while she was mowing the lawn.

Queensland Ambulance Service (QAS) paramedics arrived on scene about midday after receiving a call for assistance about 11.39am.

Early reports indicate the woman was having difficulty breathing and swallowing following the suspected bite on her leg.

A QAS spokesperson said a woman in her 20s was transported to Moura Hospital in a stable condition.
