Black Daggers’ team of tattoo artists have relocated to a new and improved address in Gladstone, with a building once home to exotic coffee brews undergoing a makeover to welcome the new tenants.

After operating out of a house on Roseberry Street for nearly six years the team were “ready for a change”, and relocated to the former Kin Coffee Co. site at 1/111 Emmadale Drive in New Auckland.

Kin Coffee closed its New Auckland shopfront in December 2020 and now operates as a mobile cafe service.

Dan Carmichael and Tyson Evans, joint owners and artists themselves of Black Dagger, said they were looking forward to sharing the open space the new building provides with their customers.

“The fit out was a fun process. We stripped everything inside the building out and gave it a fresh coat of paint,” Dan said.

“There’s more room and we can fit an additional artist”.

Black Dagger Tattoo will continue to operate as normal however there are plans to organise a day dedicated for face-to-face consultations.
