39-year-old Deepwater man to face court after allegedly exposing genitals and damaging vehicle near Captain Cook Dr carpark

A Central Queensland man will face court after allegedly smashing a car’s rear window after a grandmother allegedly saw him exposing his genitals to her teenage grandson. Here’s what we know.

A man who allegedly damaged multiple vehicles in an Agnes Water carpark before exposing his genitals to a teenager will face court later this month.

A 39-year-old Deepwater man was charged following multiple disturbances in Agnes Water on September 22.

Police will allege the 39-year-old was running through a carpark on Captain Cook Dr about 6.15pm and hit several vehicles.

The man then allegedly yelled at a 16-year-old boy who was sitting inside a vehicle, before he allegedly exposed his genitals and began kicking the vehicle door.

Police say the boy’s 63-year-old grandmother returned to the car following the disturbance, and while attempting to drive away the man allegedly smashed the car’s rear window.

Agnes Water police located the man following repeated calls he was damaging vehicles.

The man was charged with one count of wilful damage, one count of indecent act in public and one count of commit public nuisance.

He is due to appear in Bundaberg Magistrates Court on October 28.
