Girl, 7, in near-drowning at Star Gold Coast hotel-casino pool
A seven-year-old girl has been pulled from a swimming pool at the Star Gold Coast hotel-casino in a near-drowning incident.

Paramedics have rushed to the Star Gold Coast hotel-casino after a seven-year-old girl was pulled from a swimming pool.
Emergency services were called to the near-drowning incident at the Broadbeach venue just before 11am on Saturday.
Paramedics were performing CPR on the girl and hotel staff including security were also on the scene.
The child was taken by ambulance in a stable condition to Gold Coast University Hospital.
In a separate near-drowning incident, a young male was pulled from a pool at a private address in Bohle Plains, Townsville, on Friday evening and transported to Townsville Hospital in a serious but stable condition.
