With a Christmas market on almost every weekend in Brisbane, it is best to be prepared and bring a few bags along as you can expect your Christmas gift list to be ticked off by the time you leave.

From the best markets for gifts, food, artisan goods or family fun, here is a list of all the Brisbane’s Christmas markets happening this jolly season.

BEST FOR GIFTS

Vend Christmas Pop-up Market – Vend Marketplace Annerley

4pm – 9pm, Saturday 2 December

VEND Marketplace is putting on the ultimate Christmas markets perfect for last minute gift ideas. There will be 120 stalls with many creators of bespoke Christmas gifts to shop. They will also have a free face painter, professional photo booth, food and a cocktail bar.

Brisbane Arcade’s Christmas on the Mall – Brisbane CBD

10am – 7pm, Friday 8 December and 10am – 4pm, Saturday 9 December

Brisbane City will come alive this Christmas with markets boasting gift galore. Shoppers will be able to hunt for the perfect gifts from favourite Brisbane Arcade brands in the heart of Queen Street mall.

Fish Lane Christmas Markets – Fish Lane South Brisbane

9am – 1pm, Sunday 18 December

Fish Lane will is bringing the merry this festive season with an array of stallholders selling stunning handmade goods. Expect the Christmas gift list to be ticked off with local makers, designers, artists, skincare, puppy products, fashion, homewares and much more.

Portside Christmas Markets – Portside Hamilton

3pm – 7pm, Sunday 3 December

These Christmas markets will have a range of gift ideas for friends and family, including bespoke jewellery, artisanal crafts, ceramics, art, plants, festive decorations and clothes.

The Collective Markets Christmas Edition

10am – 9pm, Tuesday 19 December

The Collective Christmas Markets are an excellent opportunity to grab some unique gifts for Christmas, as well as treating yourself to some delicious food. Shop from a range of arts, crafts, homewares, collectibles, exotic items, fashion and more.

QAGOMA Christmas Design Market – Gallery of Modern Art & GOMA Forecourt, South Brisbane

9am-4pm, Saturday 9 and Sunday 10 December

Head to the Gallery of Modern Art this December where you can find some special gifts for loved ones, with over 80 unique stalls over the weekend.

Caboolture Christmas Twilight Market – Caboolture Showgrounds

4pm-9pm, Saturday 16 December

For those closer to the Northside, Caboolture Christmas Twilight Markets will have tons of stalls to explore for gift ideas. While you’re shopping you can grab a bite to eat, as well as say hi to the man in red himself.

Distillery Road Christmas Market – 124 Distillery Road, Eagleby

4pm-9pm, Saturday 25 November

Distillery Road’s truck and tunes are back but with some Christmas flare. There will be plenty of delicious food options, market stalls, as well as the official opening of Perentie Brewing Co, with a bar and beer garden to enjoy the live Christmas tunes.

South/City/SQ Christmas Night Market – South/City/SQ, Woolloongabba

Friday 22 December

These Christmas markets won’t only have market stalls for all your Christmas decor and gifts, but there will also be a huge line up of food trucks from various cuisines on offer. There may even be a visit from Santa Claus to end the festive night.

Powerhouse Christmas Markets – Powerhouse Museum, New Farm

5pm – 9pm, November 30 – December 16

Get into the Christmas spirit this December at the Powerhouse Christmas markets. There will be delicious food and live entertainment, with sensational international cuisine to choose from. There will also be some Christmas stalls and an outdoor bar to listen and relax to some of your favourite carols.

Bardon Christmas Markets – Norman Buchan Park, Bardon

Sunday December 17, 7am – 12pm

Bardon’s annual Christmas markets showcase delicious food, fresh produce and exceptional meat to get ready for the festive season. There are also a range of stalls with handmade Christmas gifts and decor, and a special visit from Santa on the day.

Moggill Twilight Christmas Markets – Moggill Markets, Moggill

Saturday December 2, 4pm – 8pm

Kick of December at the Moggill Twilight Christmas Markets and enjoy an array of great food, drinks and live entertainment. There will also be handmade stalls, face painting, pony rides and a children’s craft corner to entertain the kids.

West End Christmas Twilight Market – Davies Park, West End

4pm-10pm, Friday 1 December

West End is boasting the ultimate Christmas family fun with over 140 unique, handmade gifts. There will be two stages of live music, gourmet food and drinks, as well as family activities including some snaps with Santa, a jumping castle, face painters and more to entertain the kids.

Christmas on Main Street 2023 – Main Street, Samford

5pm-8.30pm, Saturday 2 December

Samford will be kicking off the Christmas season this year with an array of family festive fun. Enjoy live entertainment, Christmas carols, local food and activities. Kids can enjoy street entertainment, the makers market and a special visit from Santa.

Redcliffe Twilight Christmas Markets – Redcliffe Parade, Redcliffe

4pm-9pm, Saturday 9 December

Redcliffe parade will be transformed into a Christmas wonderland this December where the family can shop bespoke goods to fill the stockings, enjoy live tunes and gourmet eats, as well as swinging by the sideshow alley. With a heap of kids activities and entertainment, top off the night with a visit from Santa and a special fireworks display.

Nundah Christmas Markets – Station Street, Nundah

4pm – 10pm, Saturday 2 December

Jingle All The Bay – Brighton St, Sandgate

Saturday December 2, 3pm – 9pm

This iconic Christmas market takes the crown for the biggest in Brisbane as the entire Sandgate Town Centre is transformed into a hub of festive fun. Not only are there market stalls to explore, delicious food, cafes and pubs along the street, but there is an abundance of family fun too. There are multiple stages of entertainment to watch including live music, dancers and local performers. For the kids, there are a plethora of rides and activities to do where they will never get bored. However, it is the Christmas Street Parade that makes this one of Brisbane’s biggest Christmas markets and it is something that should not be missed.

BrisStyle Twilight Markets – Brisbane CBD

4pm-9pm, Friday 15 and 22 December

King George Square’s iconic Christmas Markets are back and better than ever. Here, you can find stunning handmade goods from over 60 local designers. From artisanal goods, unique all-natural skincare, crafted ceramics, to beautiful artwork, there are some perfect stocking fillers to get your hands on. There are food trucks to keep the tummy satisfied and live entertainment where you can sing along to some Christmas carols while you shop. Plant Empire Christmas Market – Plant Empire Yeerongpilly

Yeerongpilly’s Plant Empire is having a pop-up Christmas market where you can scoop 60-plus stalls with a range of pots, plants and ceramics. If you know a plant lover, this might be the perfect market for you to do some Christmas gift shopping.
