Hollywood stars to film new movie in Queensland

Hollywood A-lister George Clooney has made waves in Brisbane on Monday, continuing his filming schedule at Centenary pool.

Clooney started the day filming for his new comedy Ticket to Paradise at the Queen’s Wharf construction site in the CBD, before splashing down at the Spring Hill pool complex.

The actor was accompanied by two security guards and a large film crew while filming at Centenary’s diving pool.

Members of the public were allowed access to the 50 and 25-metre pools.

It comes just hours after Clooney was spotted with his wife Amal and co-star Julia Roberts in a bar at the trendy Calile Hotel in Fortitude Valley.

The Courier-Mail reached out to Centenary pool for comment, but a staff member said it was against policy to discuss it.

Clooney left the set at 3pm, heading to Sanctuary Cove in a dark bronze Hybrid Toyota Kluger.

The movie, Ticket to Paradise, has been partially filmed in Brisbane, the Whitsunday and the Gold Coast, and is expected to be released next year.
