Two drivers have been busted for speeding, one 25km over the limit, the other 30km above the limit

Laidley police have responded to four traffic crashes in the past week, with one crash resulting in patients being transported to hospital.
In this week’s Laidley crime wrap, officer in charge senior sergeant Regan Draheim highlighted a two-vehicle crash at Regency Downs on Bentley Drive.
An 18-year-old male driver and a 19-year-old female passenger from one of the vehicles were both transported to hospital with minor injuries.
The crash is still under investigation, while the other three incidences were labelled minor.
Drink driving
A 61-year-old man from Rosewood was intercepted in Laidley and returned a reading of 0.149%.
The driver’s licence was immediately suspended and he will appear in Gatton Magistrates Court on July 19.
Failing to provide specimen of breath
A 38-year-old woman from Laidley was charged with failing to provide a specimen of breath and obstruct police after being intercepted driving in Forest Hill.
The driver will appear in Gatton Magistrates Court on August 2.
Unlicenced driving
A 35-year-old woman from Caboolture was detected in Kensington Grove driving while unlicensed.
The vehicle was also unregistered.
The driver will appear in Gatton Magistrates Court at a date to be determined.
A 21-year-old man from Laidley was intercepted in Forest Hill after being detected speeding, clocked doing 85 km/h in a 60 zone.
The driver was unlicensed and received two infringement notices for these offences.
Infringement notices given
A 30-year-old man from Summerholm detected speeding 120km/h in a 90 zone.
A 58-year-old man from Plainland was issued an infringement notice for failing to Stop at a Stop Sign and five other drivers were also issued infringement notices for speeding.
Stealing
Offenders have stolen about 25 lengths of aluminium irrigation pipe and the starter motor from a tractor on a property at Churchable.
In a separate offence, earth wires were stolen from an Energex site at Glenore Grove while a stop sign was stolen from the McDonalds at Plainland.
Drug offences
A quantity of drugs and drug related items were located in a vehicle at Forest Hill. Investigations continuing in relation to the matter.
