A woman has been taken to hospital with life-threatening injuries after a crash near Wivenhoe Dam.
Emergency crews were called Coominya on Saturday around 11.15am after a car collided with a pole on Willaura Drive.
A Queensland Ambulance Service spokesman said the driver, a woman in her 70s, remained trapped inside the vehicle until around 12pm, when Queensland Fire Department crews were able to release her from the vehicle.
The woman sustained life-threatening head injuries from the accident and was taken to the Princess Alexandra hospital in Brisbane.
No other passengers were assessed at the scene.
