A Kilcoy woman has been told it was the last time no conviction would be recorded after she appeared in the Toogoolawah court.
Police found marijuana, a pipe and clipseal bag during a raid of Sharmaine Louise Gilbert’s Kilcoy property on June 22.
Duty lawyer Tony Kingston told the court his client was a 50-year-old mum who volunteered at Meals on Wheels.
He also noted Gilbert was studying aged care, which was “tied up” with her Centrelink arrangements.
Mr Kingston asked the court not to record a conviction as it could impact her future employment in the aged care industry.
Gilbert pleaded guilty to possessing dangerous drugs, possessing utensils and possessing an item suspect of being used in a crime.
She was fined $550 and no conviction was recorded.
