Queensland has recorded 15 new cases of coronavirus today, 13 of which are linked to the deadly delta variant outbreak.

With case numbers growing, health experts and state leaders have pleaded with residents to get tested, no matter how mild symptoms may be.x

chief health officer Jeanette young was particularly concerned about younger Queenslanders, who were more susceptible to the delta variant, with the latest cases spreading through at least five Brisbane schools.
