Fast-moving grass fire burning at Brightview, in the Lockyer Valley

About a dozen Queensland Fire Department crews have been called to a fast-moving grass fire in the Lockyer Valley.

A large contingent of Queensland Fire Department crews was called to a fast-moving grass fire at Brightview, in the Lockyer Valley.

A QFD spokesman said the fire took hold near the southern end of Redwood Drive, about 3pm on Friday.

Thirteen crews have been called in, but there appears to be no threat to property at this time.

Meanwhile in Warwick, crews are responding to a grass fire near the intersection of Wallace Street and Cleary Street.
