A rescue helicopter has been tasked to Gatton after a person was involved in a karting incident shortly after 1pm

The accident occurred just prior to 1pm on the outskirts of Gatton.

A Rescue helicopter is on scene at Woodlands just outside of Gatton following a karting accident today.

Queensland Ambulance Service confirmed a male patient, at this stage in a stable condition.

Just before 1pm, the male patient was involved in a karting incident on Woodlands Road and is being treated for facial and back injuries.
