A man in his 30s has suffered serious injuries after a traffic accident brought the Warrego highway to a standstill.
Emergency services were called to Haigslea on the Warrego Highway about 6.45pm on Thursday evening after a ute and two trucks collided.
A Queensland police spokesman said initial reports indicated the driver of a ute lost control of their vehicle moments before the collision.
Paramedics transported the male patient to the Princess Alexandra hospital in Brisbane in a serious but stable condition.
Queensland Ambulance Service reported the man had head, neck and chest injuries, and a critical care paramedic assisted with the patient transport.
The crash caused highway traffic to come to a standstill for more than an hour as the forensic crash unit investigated the incident.
