THE Member for Lockyer Ian Rickuss has released a virtual tour video of the much awaited second Toowoomba Range Crossing.
Lockyer Valley and Toowoomba residents are keenly awaiting the outcome of the proposal, which is currently before Infrastructure Australia in Canberra as part of the decision making process, before the 42 kilometre, $1.5b project gets approval.
Mr Rickuss said the project would create several thousand construction jobs in the region and would play a critical role in the future development of the region.
The second range crossing is bound to become a major election issue with the Federal elections looming in September, 2013 and budget announcements to be made in May, 2013.
