On October 9, The Courier-Mail will launch Future SEQ – a campaign series that will examine the threats ahead, explore the options for addressing them and reveal innovative and achievable ideas for transforming our vital region.

Future SEQ is a prime opportunity to look forward and create an integrated network of cities that can serve as a global model and magnet to attract the world’s best and brightest.

We are engaging the skills of partners such as research consultants PwC, experts in planning and technology, private enterprise, the Council of Mayors (SEQ) and other tiers of government, along with thought-leaders such as demographer Bernard Salt.

And we will harness the power of News Queensland’s print and online publishing brands, as well as Sky News, to engage the community.

On October 23, the Future SEQ lunch event will bring our region’s leaders together to discuss the challenges we face and agree on the clear path forward.
