New Premier David Crisafulli, Lord Mayor Adrian Schrinner, Federal Sport Minister Anika Wells and the boss of the Sydney 2000 bid committee will discuss the city’s 2032 legacy opportunities at the Future Brisbane lunch event on November 29.
The event at Star Brisbane has already sold out, with more than 400 people set to join leaders of industry and Olympic and Paralympic stars Kaylee McKeown, Curtis McGrath, Alexa Leary and Matt Denny.
Future Brisbane is The Courier-Mail’s annual advocacy campaign exploring the long-term benefits a Games can deliver to the city, region and state.
It comes at a critical time for 2032 planning, with new Queensland Premier David Crisafulli committing to a 100-day review of infrastructure and stadium requirements for the Games.

Sydney 2000 Bid Committee chief Rod McGeoch, new Transurban CEO Michelle Jablko, TechnologyOne COO Stuart MacDonald and The University of Queensland major events expert, Associate Professor Judith Mair, will share ideas and insights on Games legacy.
