MULTIPLE homes have been reportedly lost in bushfires in central Queensland overnight, there are 50 fires burning across the state with a blaze on the Sunshine Coast remaining at emergency level this morning.
One house has been lost at Cooroibah on the Sunshine Coast along with three sheds, cars and wildlife.
Multiple homes were also reportedly lost overnight north of Rockhampton when a fire tore through Cobraball and nearby Bungundarra.
Fire and emergency services can’t confirm that until assessment teams enter the area.

Fire conditions that have stoked dozens of blazes across Queensland are set to continue, challenging crews and leaving evacuated residents in limbo. A state of fire emergency was declared on Saturday in 42 local government areas, prohibiting all outdoor fires and activities such as welding that can spark fires.
Weather forecasters say very high risk conditions are expected across northern and eastern Queensland before easing on Monday.

You need to keep up to date and decide what actions you will take if the situation changes.
Currently as at 10.50pm Sunday 10 November, a bushfire continues to burn near Mcgarrigal Road and Laidley Creek West Road.
Firefighters will monitor the area overnight.

Queensland Fire and Emergency Services (QFES) advises there is a bushfire in Cobraball, Bungundarra, Maryvale and Lake Mary, and conditions could get worse.
You need to be ready to follow your bushfire survival plan. If you do not have a plan, or intend to leave, you should be ready to leave the area because the situation could get worse quickly.
Currently as at 10.45pm, Sunday 10 November, a dangerous fire is travelling from Cobraball towards Bungundarra, Maryvale and Lake Mary. The fire is currently impacting Mount Lizard, east of Evans Road, south of Mapes Road, south of Ingrey Road, east of Serpentine Road and north of Cobraball Road. The fire is expected to have a significant impact on the community.
Fire crews will be conducting backburning operations overnight in an effort to contain the blaze, but firefighters may not be able to protect every property. You should not expect a firefighter at your door.
An evacuation area is located at the basketball courts at Cordingley Street, Yeppoon.

Currently as at 10.35pm Sunday 10 November, a slow-moving fire is continuing to burn to the west of Main Camp Creek Road, Thornton School Road, Kowaltzke Road and Pitman Road, Thornton. It is burning in a north easterly direction, however no homes are currently under direct threat.
Fire crews remain on scene working to contain the fire and will continue to monitor the area. Firefighters may not be able to protect every property. You should not expect a firefighter at your door.

Currently as at 10.35pm Sunday, 10 November, a dangerous fire is travelling from Coast Range towards Howes Road, Adelaide Park.

Residents near Neils Road and Adelaide Park Road are no longer required to seek shelter, however should remain alert and up to date with bushfire warnings in the area. An evacuation area is located at the basketball courts at Cordingley Street, Yeppoon.

Residents who previously evacuated from Noosa North Shore are now allowed to return to their homes. However, residents are urged to use caution as there could be hazards in the area such as damaged trees.
Smoke is affecting roads, so motorists should drive with caution and to conditions.
Separate warnings are in place for Cooroibah/Ringtail Creek as well as Tewantin. Residents in those areas must follow the directions in those warnings and the directions of authorities.

Queensland Fire and Emergency Services (QFES) advises there is a bushfire approaching Cobraball, Bungundarra, Maryvale and Lake Mary. Leaving immediately is the safest option, as it will soon be too dangerous to drive.
Follow your bushfire survival plan now. If you do not have a plan, your safest option is to leave immediately if it is clear to do so. If you cannot leave, identify where you will seek shelter from the bushfire. If you are not in the area, do not return, as conditions are too dangerous.
Currently as at 6.55pm Sunday, 10 November a dangerous fire is travelling from Cobraball towards Bungundarra, Maryvale and Lake Mary.

Queensland Fire and Emergency Services (QFES) advises there is a bushfire in Gregory River (north of Proserpine).
You need to keep up to date and decide what actions you will take if the situation changes.
Currently as at 6.30pm Sunday, 10 November, a bushfire is slowly travelling from the Bruce Highway at Gregory River in a westerly direction towards Longford Creek.
The fire is burning within containment lines and crews will continue patrolling the area overnight.

Currently as at 6.25pm Sunday 10 November, a fire is travelling from Kilcoy Murgon Road in a north-easterly direction towards the southern side of the township of Jimna. The fire has slowed however residents in the township of Jimna should remain prepared to leave.
QFES crews will continue to work to contain the fire overnight, but firefighters may not be able to protect every property. You should not expect a firefighter at your door, however Police are door knocking in the area.
People choosing to self-evacuate should leave via Kilcoy Murgon Road to get to Kilcoy.

Currently as at 5.30pm Sunday, 10 November, a fire is burning to the west of Main Camp Creek Road, Thornton School Road and Kowaltzke Road, Thornton. It is travelling in a north easterly direction and is impacting Main Camp Creek Road, Thornton School Road and Kowaltzke Road, Thornton.
No homes are currently under direct threat and residents no longer need to seek shelter, however those living close to Main Camp Creek Road, Thornton School Road and Kowaltzke Road should leave now. The fire could have a significant impact on the community.

QFES advises there is a bushfire in Lower Beechmont and conditions could get worse.

Currently a fire is burning in difficult terrain to the west of North Road, Freemans Road and Outlook Avenue, Lower Beechmont. It is travelling in an easterly direction and is likely to impact North Road, Freemans Road and Outlook Avenue, Lower Beechmont.
There is no direct impact to properties at this time, however, this could change quickly and those who haven’t already left, should be ready to leave.
