Cheap meals will be up for grabs for Queenslanders getting their first jab in a new push for families for get vaccinated.
The government announced a partnership with Club Queensland this morning that will see $10 meal vouchers to be used at clubs around the state for those who get their first dose of the Covid-19 vaccination.
There will be 7250 food and drink vouchers to be used at 29 participating clubs across Australia starting on Thursday, with the vouchers eligible until Christmas.
Health Minister Yvette D’Ath said that it was just another reason for people to roll up their sleeves.
“If people weren’t convinced by the fact getting vaccinated could keep you out of hospital and save your life, they might be enticed by a $10 voucher that can be used at local clubs,” she said.
