Woman, child hurt in Maryborough crash

A woman and a primary school aged child have been taken to hospital after a car hit a power pole in Maryborough.
The crash happened at the corner of Alice and March Streets, near the Maryborough Central Shopping Centre around 2:20pm.
The woman reported chest pain.
Queensland Ambulance Service did not provide any detail about whether the child had been injured.
The pair were taken to Hervey Bay Hospital in a stable condition.
